

Integrative Law Review is a double-blind, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Lembaga Penelitian Cendekia Gagayunan Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse on the integration, harmonisation, and comparative study of Islamic law (Shariah) and civil law within national, regional, and international legal frameworks. It serves as a forum for examining how diverse legal traditions interact in responding to contemporary legal challenges. The journal focuses on legal scholarship encompassing public law, private law, and Shariah law, including constitutional law, criminal law, administrative law, business and corporate law, family law, Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic banking and finance, international law, intellectual property rights, and emerging areas such as information technology and cyber law. Emphasising integrative and comparative methodologies, Integrative Law Review welcomes original and unpublished manuscripts that offer theoretical, doctrinal, empirical, or critical perspectives. Integrative Law Review publishes research articles, case notes, and book reviews that contribute to the development of legal knowledge and practice. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. Through its commitment to scholarly excellence and interdisciplinary engagement, the journal aims to promote meaningful dialogue between Islamic law and civil law scholarship at both regional and global levels.
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026): Integrative Law Review publishes a total of 5 research articles authored and co-authored by 18 scholars affiliated with 10 higher education institutions across Asia. The contributing scholars represent universities and academic institutions from Indonesia, Japan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye, demonstrating the journal’s commitment to fostering international academic collaboration and scholarly exchange in the field of law. The contributing institutions include Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta; Nanzan University, Nagoya, Japan; Fakultas Hukum Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta; Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia; Universitas Doktor Husni Ingratubun Papua, Indonesia; Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan; Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Indonesia; Institut Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Temanggung, Indonesia; Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia; and İstanbul Üniversitesi, Hukuk Fakültesi, Medeni Hukuk Anabilim Dalı, İstanbul, Türkiye. The geographical and institutional diversity of the contributors reflects the journal’s growing academic network and its efforts to promote cross-border scholarly engagement and interdisciplinary perspectives in legal studies. Integrative Law Review is published twice a year, covering the periods January–June and July–December.
